  1.   3. Play videos in flash video player: after conversion, all videos can be played in our integrated flash video player. According to Adobe's report, Flash Player is available on 99.1% computers on internet, and this component prompts your visitors to install flash player if it is unavailable, so you can expect to safely deliver your content to all visitors.

Video Sharing Features

 

   Video conversion engine: Uses same technology as Youtube, when you upload a video clip in browser, its converted to Flash Video format(.flv), the conversion process is very fast, it takes only a few seconds to convert a short video, flv format is the most suitable video format for internet distribution.
   FLV video player: Converted videos and videos from internet are played in our integrated flash video player, our flash player offers the ability to quickly, smoothly playback your videos with an well designed user interface, users can switch in normal mode and full screen mode.

Integrate with user profile, forum, and private messages. When your visitors watch a video, they can browse the author's user profile, forum posts, or send him a private message.

Save files in portal directory: All videos, screenshots are saved in a directory under your portal root and don't cost you database space.
   Add video from internet: You also can add video from a valid Internet URL. Internet videos are browsed and played together with local videos, if you want to use dedicated storage server like Amazon Z3 to store your videos, you can convert videos to flash video format by the converter, and upload them to your storage server, then you just need to tell it the url of your video and the component can handle the rest.

Integrate with Youtube, Google Video and more: It is specially designed to work with Youtube, Google Video and other video community websites, you can directly pass the url with video on it.
   Adjustable video quality: The video quality is adjustable. If you want better video quality and your server has good bandwidth, you can increase the bit rate and video size parameters in the configuration module, otherwise you should decrease them, this ensures you have a good balance of video quality and response speed.
   User interface customization: You may have your own web design and business requirements. Our flash player offers 20+ options to set colors, transparency, size and behaviors(like auto play).

View permisson control: Video managers can set view permssion by roles on both the category and video level, so it's easy to restrict some users from watching specific videos. You can use this feature to sell your videos.
  Upload progress bar: To upload a video from local disk takes some time. A notification message is displayed when your users upload a file. Aslo, a graphical upload progress bar is displayed and refreshed immediately if your website is setup in a full trust environment.

Ajax support: Ajax is used in various sub modules of this product, which brings you a smarter and cool user interface effect, the upload progress bar is a typical sample of ajax effect.
   Upload quota: The Upload Quota is the max number of videos a user can add.  When you collect videos from public users, you may want to restrict them from adding numerous videos, so you can setup a quota for each role.

Bulk video creation: Multiple videos can be zipped and added in single operation, you also can upload your videos by FTP and force the component to detect them.
  Video screenshot: Video screenshots are very useful to give your visitors a brief previw. When you upload a video, it will automatically capture a screenshot from the 1st frame of this video, you also can enter a time point and capture a screenshot manually.

Rotated screenshot: You can capture a series of screenshots from your video and display them in rotation order, to give your website visitors a more detailed impression. In a medium trust environment this feature is automatically replaced by the static screenshot.
  Related videos: Like Youtube and other video community websites, videos with the same tag are displayed in our video player when reach the end of current video, you can expect to get higher page view with this feature.

Watermark: Display a watermark above your videos to show your copyright info. You can specify your watermark text in HTML format and the position you'd like to place it in. When your videos are embedded to other websites, your portal alias is used as a watermark to protect your work.
   Video categories: Videos can be organized by categories. You can create unlimited categories and each video can be placed in in multiple categories. Categories can be used to provide easy navigation.

Video sharing: It can send an email notification to your friends to share a video. You also can find a piece of html code to embed your video anywhere. You can embed it in a web page, an email, or even a forum post.
