As part of our corporate website design process, we take into account the following considerations:
- Future Growth - Content Management Sites are run from a database, so all website content is generated dynamically. Allows for virtually unlimited webpages and content. Open programming language to minimize obsolesence. Conforms to current emerging Internet Programming Standards.
- Administrative Control - Total control can be shared amongst many administrators. Reduces the possibility that employee turnover will result in lack of documentation to continue updating the website.
- Departmentalized Access - Individuals can be given access edit/update specific web pages or specific areas of a web page based on their given responsibilities.
- Customization - Website appearance can be changed on multiple levels without rebuilding entire website. Provides access to include content from other sources and databases.
- Laserfiche - (new installs only) Serves as a platform for Laserfiche document retrieval. Please call for Laserfiche integration quotes.
Other important elements that can be integrated or customized include:
- Employee/Member/Business Directories - We can design database driven directories for internal and/or external use. It can be as simple as an employee phone list, or a public business directory.
- Document Repository - Internal files can be uploaded to the server for download by others within the organization.
- Custom Contact or Feedback Forms - Allow website visitors to fill in their information online and either email it to the appropriate person or store it online to view later.
- Timed Delivery - Allow certain components to appear at a certain date and also be removed at a certain date automatically. This assures your website will not have old information appearing once the event has passed.
